Fifteen year State Senator Kirk Dillard (R-Westmont) [See www.KDillard.com http://www.KDillard.com ], debates and discusses with show host and executive legal recruiter Jeff Berkowitz whether it made sense for Republican Dillard to be featured in Democrat Barack Obama's ad, whether Obama was Senate President Jones' show pony, whether the legislation worked on jointly by Dillard and Obama was significant and effective, why Obama is the first African-American to have a serious shot at being President and whether Obama's momentum has been seriously slowed by the revelations involving Rev. Wright, Tony Rezko and Bill Ayers. Does Dillard regret doing the ad for Obama? Is there a similarity between Obama and McCain? Could the Blagojevich meltdown and the toxic tone in Springfield among Dems help the Republicans be resurrected in Illinois. Are the Republicans in Illinois now the party of ethics and better jobs. Why was it hard for the State GOP party leaders to dump National Republican Party committeeman Bob Kjellander? Did Kjellander do anything illegal? Unethical? Playing footsies with the Democrats? Is there still an Illinois Combine? If so, would Senator Dillard like to destroy it? All of it? Some of it? Did the 2003-04 ten billion dollar pension bond sale make sense? Did some in the Illinois Republican Senate Caucus feel those Republicans who supported the bond sale had knifed the caucus in the back? Had they? John Cox, 2008 Republican Primary candidate for President, suggested that Andy McKenna Sr.'s business interests, e.g., his ownership interest in the Chicago Bears may have an impact on Andy McKenna Jr.'s political statements and actions in his role as State GOP chairman. What does Senator Dillard think about that? Is Illinois the best state to examine the intersection of money and politics? Do the family financial interests of State GOP Chairman and 2004 U. S. Senate Republican Primary Candidate Andy McKenna, Jr. exemplify that? Does that involve relationships between McDonalds, the Chicago Bears, Burger King, the McKennas' family business and the City of Chicago? Is there a symbiosis in Illinois between the people who are making money through government and business and the politics of the situation? Is the symbiosis called the Daley Ryan Combine, the Daley Thompson combine or the Daley-McKenna Combine?
