I'm doing a documentary about Amelia Earhart for a history competition, do you know where I could get footage?

They do not let it post here but the 'Amelia' website listed in the upper left 'neilnils' channel description box (under the piano player photo) has recently been up to 4000 hits a day. Btw, National Geo and the Smithsonian are not allowed to support any Earhart mystery solving theories. (non realized information.)

This was a promotion Amelia did for Hudson to launch the new 1932 Essex Terraplane. She smashed a bottle ov aviation fuel on the grille to christen it. The first car off the assembly line was given to Orville Wright and then there was a mass dealer drive-a-way of 2000 '32 Essex Terraplanes through the streets of Detroit. "Terraplane" meant "earth bound flight." It's unclear whether Amelia owned one of these cars herself but she did it to raise money for setting her flying records.

Thank you for sharing this footage. My daughter did a film about her and we were unable to find any footage of her on the internet. This is precious.
