That's really interesting that you say that because that's what I've been hearing from a lot of people. Our family had a house in Crystal Beach. but the media here isn't talking at all about the deaths. A guy in Galveston said there were bodies along the beach... very very sad

I miss galveston and crystal beach...the spot where my families beach house used to be is now in the ocean. Once you go down there and see the devastation in person, ur heart sinks, crystal beach a once largely populated and fun town is now wiped down completely...damn you ike

The destruction on the Bolivar Peninsula is devastating. I went to take a peek of the damage there. It truly looks like Berlin in 1945.

IT IS. When the eye hit us my apartment building was rocking for about 3 hours. Very scary. I won't stay for the next hurricane.
