The market's juice product may be used if available in your area but may have sodium metabisulfite as preservative and may not allow the yeasts to grow . Any way try it you will like it. house-hold wine making method by active yeast culture, will start fermenting slowly in the begining , when the yeasts get adaptation to the environment.time temp, etc. no vent is needed. just loose cap to allow the CO2 to get out. besides you are not making a bubbly wine in the first place
HAVE FUN+ENJOY IT.

Dr. dave, will the Pom juice from the market make any difference in taste? Also, while fermenting how big should the vent be for the jar or none at all? What is the taste of the end product? Sounds delicious already.Thanx
